Help Compass icon

[franmorr1966]

I have just moved from Droid X to Thunderbolt. The tiny compass icon (circle with cross going through) on top of the info bar never goes away. Has anyone gotten it to disappear? Yes, all three "Location" options are unchecked.

Thanks.

That icon is the emergency 911 location indicator, it can't be switched off as far as I know.
