Root "Complete action using" is verrrry forgetful

Running CM7.1 on a HTC Desire.

You know when you get the 'Complete action using' prompt? Well, most of the apps on my phone do remember what I choose, but *some* of my apps forget it after every restart.

EG:

When clicking on an image, it asks me if I want to view it in QuickPic (YES!) or Gallery (NO!).
MP3 - Spotify or Stock?
Long hold of Search button - a whole load of apps offer themselves as shortcuts.

I always tick the "Use by default" box, but my phone only remembers this until the next restart.

(I know people are going to tell me to tick the box, so I'm going to repeat myself: I always tick the "Use by default" box, but my phone only remembers this until the next restart.)

I've got Simple2Ext, so some of my apps will be on my SD card. Is that relevant?

Thanks, Richard

try moving one back to phone int memory as a test? Never had an issue with this as all my apps are on int phone memory - only thing on sd card is games.

Moved touchpal keyboard back to internal some weeks ago & it fixed the issue with that app. Not bothered about the rest as I don't reboot very often. The keyboard was the only one I had to go into settings to reactivate.

Moved the apps back to internal that seems to have fixed I also used cache mate and I've stopped using that as well so not sure which one has fixed it
