Root Complete reset

How would I go about doing a complete reset? So that I could start off like the phone just came out of the box? What would I need to make sure I back up first?

Look at part c here. Though I don't think it'll work if you're on the .320 leak because of the updated bootloader.

If you want it factory fresh you need to do a factory reset in settings>privacy>factory reset. Then SBF. Which version of froyo do you have now?
The orig. froyo leak 2.3.9.
OTA froyo 2.3.15.
New leak 2.3.320.
or new OTA 2.3.340.

If you are on the original froyo are you looking to upgrade? That requires different steps.

Yea, if you flash a full SBF (that is compatible with your bootloader) then it will revert it to it's out of the box state. You will have to reactivate and set up your google account and everything.

Thanks for all the responses! I actually reverted back to an earlier backup I had on the phone and it seemed to solve the problems I was having. I'm now on new OTA 2.3.340.

So things seem to be good to go! This forum rocks and so do you all!!
