Root complete unroot???

I know that flashing a generic ruu will unroot the phone but will it also removes cwm recovery?
Please answer my question.

I just did it . Just to test it out. I am going to flash a new rom anyway.
So, no, it doesn't remove CWM recovery.

Using CWM recovery, I backed up my current rom and flashed the stock ruu.
the hboot is still there, volume down + power takes you to hboot, and from there when you go to recovery, you are back in cwm recovery, from where you can restore your backup or flash a different rom

Thanks for the reply.
Now can you tell how to remove cwm recovery and install stock recovery so that i can install ota updates?

You can receive ota updates even with cwm recovery. But there hasn't been anything new out for months. If you want to install manually, all the latest ROMs are downloadable here:
Football's Shipped Marvel ROM Collection

Make sure that you install ROMs that are compatible with your phone (Marvel/MarvelC/MetroPCS).

Is it necessery to relock bootloader in order to install ota updates?
I have read somewhere therefore i asked.

No, the OTA update doesn't need a locked bootloader, but...

What happens is, when you do the WFS OTA update from 2.3.4 to 2.3.5., the update will lock your boot loader, and you have to go back and unlock it.
