Help Completely Charging Battery Before Powering On...

I apologize if this has been covered before, but I am new to these forums. I noticed in the manual to the phone it says that it is very important to completely charge the phone before ever turning it on for the first time.

I have never done this in the past and unfortunately didn't see it in the manual until it was too late. Have I already screwed my battery?

So my question is: Does it really matter? What do you all generally do? Do you let it drain completely before ever charging it for the first time? Do you plug it in right away? Or do you charge completely before ever turning it on?

You'll be fine. Just "bump charge" your phone for the next few cycles: run your battery down to the point where it turns off by itself, then plug it in and charge until it's green. Unplug from the charger, turn the phone on, and then plug the charger back in until its green. Turn off and repeat until there's very little lag time where it keeps charging.

This trains the device to recognize when the battery is actually 100% full.

You have to turn it on to activate then I just let the battery run out and charge it all the way up

As for the prefix, I guess I looked at it from the perspective of someone offering me a tip, trick, or tutorial.

Anyway, after the initial drain and recharge, what are your charging habits after that? Do you plug it in whenever or do you consistently let it drain completely?
