Hay everyone. Im on a Sprint Evo Design, and after i rooted my phone (after the ics update) I havent found a successful way to return to stock. Ive used all the old ruu's and extracted roms from the ruu's, but they've all given me the "main version too old" message.
The REALLY weird thing is, I cant even factory reset my phone now! Ive tried hard reseting it through menu>settings and it will say reseting, but it reboots to the hboot menu. After i reboot the phone, its in the exact same way as before. Ive tried this both with a locked and unlocked bootloader and nothing works.
I taken it to a Sprint store (with a locked bootloader) to see if they could factory wipe and return to stock, but they couldnt even get past the hboot menu, encountering the same problems i had.
I think my phone suddenly gained a soul and likes to be rooted and REFUSES to return to the stock life =) Any help would be appreciated, I really want to get this thing unrooted and functioning like an unrooted phone.
