Root Complicated problem, please help.

So I currently have a rooted Motion4g running the version C firmware, and 4.0.1

I installed a program Smanager (can be found in the forum), and I used it to run two scripts. This basically spoofed the phone into thinking that the external memory card, was really the internal memory. I believe they just linked the folders so whatever happens in one, is mirrored in the other.

Problem:
I cannot access my files on my memory card. I have a 32 gig card, that is being used to hold regular media, plus all the application data. That massive card must be "scanned" every reset/reboot.

There are large amounts of data, and large amounts of sensitive data that needs to be moved. Cloud is not an option, plus it would be tedious. There is direct over wi-fi which is the best available means of transferring files, albeit one at a time.

When I plug the phone into the computer with the USB cord I don't get anything via Windows, or Ubuntu. I even bought a micro-SD to usb adapter and tried using that, but it doesn't work, I don't get a file path tree that makes sense. Help anyone.

Many thanks.

Xieon, could you please make a response to the solution posted by Candoopa. Has this fixed your problem or not? If not , have you found an alternate solution that you can post for us.

So I've already followed the updated mounting your real SD card tutorial. Which worked, however caused problem such as making the only way to transfer files via a wireless network sharing app.

I'm not sure what happened, but somehow the problem has been fix (perhaps). Making sure I use the Media Transfer, I get a MP3 player logo, with an eternal and external SD.

Now I've got another problem I believe is still related to this.

I cannot open/run many programs. I cannot run Opera, it opens closes no dialog. Firefox opens and gives crash report. Chrome opens but is uninteractive. My camera shows all blacaka, until I take a picture then I can see it in the preview.

I was thinking of basically factory resetting my phone.
