Comprehensive Emulator Guide

Glad the NA SG3 has a duel S4. Faster than my already fast 4430 and Tegra 3 devices, plus has a hard home button that is out of the way, so no capacitive or soft nav buttons to accidentally press.

Better battery life is a bonus. The Sammy quad is faster still, but less battery life. Everything is some form of trade off.

So I have some news on FPSE

Open gl should soon work on devices with a mali gpu without using any kind of odd work arounds. (Samsung galaxy line of phones)

For this who have not tried open gl on FPSE I highly recommend it.

The ps1 games hve better graphics on ur phone then on the ps1 !

All games work in open gl except for a crash in FF7 which Schtruck is working on fixing.

Fpse will also soon be getting a new and improved game selection gui

What exactly do you mean by trying open gl on FPSE?
is there something to install on top of FPSE to make it look nicer or am i missing something here?

Recently played through ff9 on my Transformer Prime and while it didn't look bad it wasn't as good as on the original PS1 (and definitely not as good as on my PS3 with the visual upscale settings on).

Check the fpse site on how to enable open gl.

If u look in your settings in FPSE U will see an option to download open gl drivers.

With open gl fpse should be near as good as the ps3 version

So NULLDCe for Android has been leaked online.

You can find the orginal alpha .apk on this forum:

NullDCe apk

I tested it out and crazy taxi ran 100% on my phone (no sound)

keep in mind that this .apk is from 12-2010....if they had actually worked on this it could be running just fine...

More news on Nulldc. The project is still being ported to Android. If you check the forum I leaked above u can see a link for a video showing a more recent version of nulldc and its near full speed with sound !

So not a ton of news on emus lately BUT anyone who loves emulation on Android knows that what we need is a mobile friendly bt controller.

There are a few but none of them attatch to the phone in such a way that you could have the controller connected 100% of the time!

Until now that is....

Please help fund the Icontrolpad 2. This version will slide behind your phone. I plan to keep mine on 24/7 ;)

20 days to go lets help em meet their funding goal !

Plenty of updates to NDS emus on the market. I also know of one other in works that is very promising.

U know the tegra chips are not really the strongest performing....they just market for exclusivity from developers and get them to put more time into graphics for tegra choosers over others...

I tried clicking the GBA link to the 'explusalpha' emu, and I think the Play Store link is broken?

Can someone tell me if the GBA emu by Fast Emulator (My Boy!) will work well with 'Pokemon Emerald' and 'Castlevania Aria Of Sorrow'? Been looking for a stable GBA emu.
