Root Computer file associations

I just want to remind everyone about file associations on their computers. I have always chosen to show hidden file assoc with every computer. It is important to remember this when rooting and renaming files.

I was removing the ".zip" from a few files and was having frustrating issues getting things to flash. Then a member in a thread of mine made a comment which turned on my light bulb. DUH... I was removing the file assoc and making the file unusable. :o

Essentially if a person has a .zip file they need to flash and it's been downloaded to your computer, and you have ALL of your file assoc shown, it will still need to read ".zip". I know most people don't choose this method on their computers. Hopefully this will save someone else some time and frustration.

I choose that method on my computers as well. I don't know why windows decided it wanted to hide them
