Help Computer not recognizing phone

Hi everyone,

Whenever I try to plug my phone through it's USB cable to my computer, a pop up always says that "Windows cannot recognize the device" and that the drivers were unsuccessfully installed. I've tried different USB ports to no avail. I'm trying to move some music onto my phone and this is really bugging me.

Any solutions?

Have you downloaded and installed the Samsung drivers?

You can find them courtesy of the benevolent folks over at OUDHS, here-

As an aside, I have found that using an sd card reader is much much faster than using an usb cord, as far as transferring files goes

Oh. And after you install the Samsung drivers, you may want to NOT let Windows search online for its own drivers when you plug your phone in. This way it will be forced to use the drivers from Samsung.
