I'm still having the issue where everyone keeps telling me I sound muffled when I call them. I'm really getting frustrated since I need to spend a lot of time making calls and taking care of clients. I'm not sure what's causing it. It's only happened recently (one or two versions ago).

I've tried *228 and it didn't seem to help.

Any ideas? Are there settings that allow you to increase the microphone volume or something along those lines? :confused:

Nevermind. I just figured it out! For some reason, it sounds fine as soon as I unplug it. I'd bought a longer USB cable that allowed me to talk with it plugged in and that seems to have been causing it. :o

Anyone else noticed that or know how to make it work better while it's plugged in? :confused:

The microphone is right near the USB connector. Maybe you have a big connector that is blocking the microphone opening? (You see that small opening on the trackball-side of the USB connector? That's the microphone opening.)

You're right! Then what are the two little holes in the lower left-hand corner of the phone? :confused:

I had to take off my cover to see what they were (obviously, my cover doesn't leave them available.) They are for attaching a cord lanyard kind of thing. Something like this: <Link removed by owners request>

And here I always thought that was the microphone.
 
Still waiting for the release to resync with CM. I don't know why I said 7.1 final.. I meant RC1 lol. Just wanted to keep you guys posted.. It's CM not me lol.
