no,none of them resulted in any of that. :p

in a nutshell:
i was curious about the ruu installer,so used it to roll my firmware back to the 1.49.0000 s-on v3 leak. i then used z4root to to try temp and permanent root to see if theyd work. permanent did,so i dowloaded rom manager and flashed clockwork,then amon. booted to recovery and changed the radio to 2.42.01.04.27,since it is one that claims to be supported on the cdma hero by unrevoked. i was basically curious to see if i could flash the "forever" tool and have it stick like it does on the inc. it didnt :mad: so then i tried to use the RUU installer trick to sneek the root rom back onto the phone(replaced rom.zip with the root rom) wich didnt work. :mad::mad: im wondering if its got to do with bein the leak? hmm i suppose i could try one more time now that im back on 2.41.605.6 stock firmware. i put the root rom PB00IMG file on the sd card,booted to hboot,and didnt get the "main version older" error,so now the battery is charging so i can flash it. maybe ill give the RUU thing one more shot :)

hmmmm now im also wondering if the forever patch aborted becasue of the v3 leak... maybe ill try that one more time as well :D

Just so you guys know. I'll be heading out on vacation Thursday night. I'll be away until July 9 and I'll be in northern Maine. I'm not sure if I'll have any kind of service there or if I'll have internet but I'm taking my laptops just in case lol. I'm going to have an update before I go for you though so you can have something to play with :)

Man, I'm jealous. Have fun. I haven't had time to flash v12 yet. Maybe I'll just wait for v13.

awesome have a great vacation Maine is a nice place to visit. im jealous too lol
 
Maybe this is a known issue or maybe it is just me, but I can't seem to get a lock on GPS using maps.

Still haven't activated it, maybe that has something to do with it. Other than that, this phone is running pretty smooth.

If you can connect to wifi. I think it's because its not activated and still needs a data connection. Mine locks on within seconds.

I flashed v11 striped to hell earlier and I didn't get my apps back that I backed up with titanium backup? How come? Also I had the app i think I was called gtunes lite but now it's not in the market place anymore, how can I find it?

the best way to get your gtunes app back would be to go to a backup where you had it... then back it up with titanium so you can restore it :)

as for titanium,what happened when you tried to restore your apps? did it go thru the restore process? or did you get some sort of error message?

When I backed them up with Titantium backup it said something like backup complete. When I flashed v11 though it wasnt there. I don't mind the titanium backup but I don't understand why I cant find Gtunes lite(the orange icon) on the market, it like dissapeared :confused: This also happened with the Flow, facebook app. Where'd they go ?!

did you redownload titanium(and the prokey if you use it) and use it restore your apps?

titanium will not automagically appear and restore after a new rom flash. :eek::)

youll need to do it manually,just like you backed them up :)
 
I'm on v12 and I can't receive mms messages. I did a dalvik wipe as I was coming from v11. Did I miss something? Otherwise I Love it!
