Help Configuration Message

Hi all

I just received 2 configuration messages claiming to be from my provider (O2), without thinking I stupidly installed them without even verifying the number. In hindsight I googled the number that texted me 2030 and it turns out (surprise surprise) it wasn't from O2.
I am never normally that stupid and would usually be really careful with this sort of thing on both phone and email.

Anyway, I was just wondering if there is anyway to check if I have installed anything malicious? AVG didnt alert me to the message or after install. and a manual scan revealed nothing. But I am still a bit nervous

Are they actual sms messages? Do you have a logcat to show any installations or downloads?

In saying that - check on the o2 website for the apn settings and then check your phone to make sure they are the same and aren't being directed elsewhere.

Im pretty sure 2030 is the number for o2 apn settings :thumbup:
