Help confirm notification

I need a way that I have to acknowledge that I have gotten a notification. Sometimes the noise level is too high and i will not know that I have gotten a message, email or missed a call. I there a way or app to make me acknowledge that there is a notification that has occured?

FlashNotify will flash your screen for missed calls and SMS messages.

Also keylights on SDX flashes the soft keys without plashing the screen. This was a little easier on the battery with 1.5.
