Ive been looking around seeing what GSM bands Ill need for when I travel outside the US and most nations seem to be a 900/1800 band combo on the GSM requirements. Now that Ive been looking, the Motorola website states that its only triband and lacks the 1800, which would render my phone useless in most metro areas. Ive looked at other sites though, like this one here or here and many others. So what gives? Are these sites just automatically assuming the 1800 will be there or did Motorola make a typo and accidentally leave the 1800 off their spec sheet?

I've been asking that very same question and I have yet to get a clear answer.

I've e-mailed Sprint and Motorola, and nothing.

I need the Photon to be Quad-Band GSM like all the other Motorola global phones, otherwise, the "world phone" feature is useless to me...
