Confused!!!!!

Ok so I have a Hero on T-Mobile which Ive had for nearly a year now.

And like you all I am waiting for the 2.1 update.

Ive checked the T-Mobile site as I heard about teh June release date & I dont see a thing.

Does this mean that T-Mobiel have not released teh 2.1 update yet?

If so can someone please advise what is the most stable current 2.1 ROM out there & a guide to installing it as this waiting around lark is taking the P!55 now.
