...i have the PH44IMG zip. and when i enter my menu it does ask if i wish to update and goes through the update just fine..however a simple root checker app doesnt verify its rooted and my Super User/BusyBoxx doesnt have the permission it should.. ive had the phone rooted before before i wipped all my personal information off of it. Maybe im doing something wrong with SuperUser?
Any Help..please and Thanks. and any other info i can provide to help id be glad to.

Make sure you have /system/bin/su or /system/xbin/su (it's usually where busybox is). That's the file that actually gives superuser status (which is why you root a phone) to an app that requests it. SuperUser (or SuperSU) is just the user interface to su, so you can decide whether to grant superuser status to the app that asks for it. (That way, if a virus that's looking for superuser status gets into your phone, you can deny it access. If you didn't run the app that's asking for permission, it's probably not a good idea to grant it.)

Just went through my phone and i do have system/bin/su.. anything else i need to doubble check or ensure i have?
edit: i also have the su file in system/xbin/su so its located in both places.
