Help Confusing S in top left corner

Hi,

there is something confusing going on with my Gingerbread Motorola Atrix: In some apps I see a small grey box with an S in it on the top left corner when the app is switching pages. It's just for a blink of an eye but I can see it.
I am afraid I can't describe it any better but I am really wondering what this is about? Any ideas?

I've had that happen to me as well. Shut the phone off and turn it back on and it goes right away.
