Confusion over A2SD+

Ok so I've rooted, S-offed, partitioned (FAT32 and EXT4) and flashed Oxygen 2.2.2 onto my Desire GSM. The confusion however arises in that I'm not really sure how using A2SD now works, do I just install the usual app from the app market onto the phone or should this be built into the ROM? Basically I'm very confused as to how the A2SD works on a rooted phone!!

I followed this guide to root etc.

forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1016084

I used the latest versions of Alpharev, using ClockworkMod Recovery and the latest version of Unrevoked.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT ----> Problem solved thanks guys. For future reference: Download Quick System Info PRO from the market, if A2SD has less free space than total space then it is being used for apps.

I'm a novice and have been following guides - so forgive my lack/improper use of technical terms or procedures.

A2SD+ is automatic, so after successfully partitioning your SD card, any current/future app will be stored on your new partition. Note - you should move any existing app's on your SD card back to your phone (because your 'phone' is where your partition is now).

Download "quick system info pro" from the Market, and make sure your partition is correct. This is under "A2SD STORAGE" (should say your partition size).

An additional option is to move your Dalvik to your SD card to save even more space. A2SD Explained MIUI-Au for HTC Desire

My internal memory is still going down, is this correct? Looking into quick system info and also I thought I had already read your FAQs but it turns out I'd missed a bit.
