Help connect a samsung tab2.10.1 to a hotel wired modem

When in hotels the room has a wired internet connection. How do I connect my Tab 2.10.1 to it.

I presume there is no wireless in the hotel? It's a lot easier than using the wired connection.

Yes wifi is available but sometimes weak. Looking for an wifi extender that can connect to the hotel ethernet cable that will send wifi signal.

I solved a similar problem at work where there is no WiFi. I got a refurbed Cisco/Linksys router off Amazon for $19.99 and it was truly plug and play. Worked great right out of the box. Plugged it right into the company network.
