Help connect as disk drive issue on PC

After connecting as disc drive and moving some photos around...now hundreds of photos,videos and music gone or encrypted from PC (The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect). WOW !!!

I'm having trouble pinpointing the issue. What did you do when you connected to the PC?

Are the pictures/ect that were on the comptuer now missing? Pictures/ect that were on the phone but moved to the computer now missing? Pictures/ect that were on computer now on phone missing?
 
connected to pc and selected disk drive. Went through folders on phone and moved pics to PC external drive and moved a few from external drive to phone. After I finished I selected charge only and disconnected. Then check phone for pictures and ones transfered were there, went back to phone and some of pics transfered are gone, pics not associated with phone gone, videos gone from other cameras, missing documents in folders on PC and external hard drive. No security warning from Kasperskys when I connected phone to PC, just a pop up concerning new pictures found in which I just hit cancel. Now I'm running Kasperskys and found thus far 2 JAVA Trojan viruses.

Some of the videos file names looke encrypted with symbols.

2 don't think this came from my evo. Seems to be between external drive and pc
