connect to PC problem

For some reason when I plug my Bionic into the USB port of my PC I get a message saying USB device not recognized. I also tried it on a different PC, same issue.
I tried using a different cable and even went and bought a new cable, same problem. The phone does not show up in my Explorer tree at all. However, it does still charge thru the USB port. Any ideas?

Did your drivers get uninstalled. Try downloading moto helper and reinstall your drivers.

When it is connected and you pull down the pull down menu on the Bionic what does it say?

also, make sure to check usb debugging under developer options in settings.

Turns out the cable that Verizon gave me isn't a data cable.....
