Help Connecting a digital camera

Has anyone hooked up their digital camera through the USB hub yet? I have a Nikon dSLR and I think this would make the most use out of the Acer's USB for me.

Haven't tried that yet, why don't you give it a go and report back or do you not have an a500 yet?

I've just taken the sd card out of my camera and used a small usb card reader to link to my tab and that works fine.

Ok just plugged my casio point and shoot in via usb and works fine I can access it via Astro.

I tried my Fuji S5800. and that doesn't seem to work though no idea if that even works on my Pc as I never used it this way prefering to remove the card.

I tried it and it doesn't seem to work. I plugged it in and have the camera on went in to Astro. I couldn't find anything related to the camera. Where would the folder show up in Astro? This is a big negative for me. Bat least the Toshiba has a full size SD card slot. Maybe that will be out soon to check out.

In astro I needed to go to the top level then selected USB Storage. You can easily pick up a usb sd card reader on ebay for next to nothing if you can't get it to work.

definitely no problem for that Michael. I have try so many times inserting my Canon DLSR to my Toshiba PC on it's USB hub and it's obviously working.

I own a D90 and haven't yet tried to plug it in with a USB cable.

I only buy MicroSD memory cards and use the SD adapters in my camera and computer ... and use the MicroSD to transfer files to/from my tablet and phone. Now, when I travel to out of town youth sports tournaments I don't have to remember extra cables.

I think my current card is 16G Class 10 ... so there's been now read/write speed issues ... and I shoot high res, high burst mode hockey most of the time.

If you're interested in doing any editing of pics on the tablet, buy PhotoEnhance Pro ... so far it's the only software out there that doesn't reduce your file resolution. Even Photoshop Express reduced my files to 1/6 the original size!

(I prefer to crop to a locked resolution and the internal Gallery doesn't do that ... yet)

Good Luck!

I connected a Canon Powershot SX230 and it worked fine, copied the pictures over, however, not the movies. It does not seem to recognize .mov files
