Connecting a USB Video Camera on Tablet with Android

Hi, I would like to ask if it is possible to connect a camera device with mini-USB connection to a Tablet with Android.
If possible, is there a software out there that will allow the live video stream be displayed on the tablet?

Welcome to the forums, iki.

Sorry to say I've seen that question around various tablet and Android forums, and no method yet. I'm thinking it is one of those issues not yet developed in Android, but will probably be remedied with some wort of work around, perhaps and app in Market.

The actual physical connection can be made, with the right cable (min-USB to USB, etc) depending on the camera, etc. But the software to enable the data connection is the problem.

Perhaps someone will chime in with such a work around.
