Help Connecting Evo 2 PC. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

When I connect the Evo to my computer, its not giving me the option of to mount or don't mount. What do I need to do to allow this option to show up? Thanks in advance.................

When plugged in to computer, pull down the notification bar and press the usb icon where it says 'Select to change USB connection type', select 'Mount as disk drive'.

The phone is 2 days old, and when I plug it in, nothing shows up on the notification bar. Us there anything else I need 2 try?

Yeah, I get the same problem with my laptop running XP, I plug it in, sometimes it takes 2-3mins..and then it finally shows up as a disk drive..
running ADW launcher, unrevolked3 rooted with regular apps.

Yesterday, i rebooted my phone 2 times, and still it didn't show up.
I realized that I plugged in my phone before my laptop booted up,
I rebooted my laptop, connected phone via USB cable, and it came right up..

i am running windows 7 at work, and have to do the same dance to.. as long as it works.. I don't mind

i was having this problem for a couple of days, I was using a cheap retractable chord I got with a car charger. I switched back to the original chord and the USB connection screen popped up right away. With the old chord it would still charge but it would not get the connection choice screen to pop up....maybe your chord is crapping out?
