So, I have my Optimus M rooted with z4root. I have used PDANet to tether my WinXP laptop to my phone and gain internet access that way (it worked pretty good too; a lot faster than I expected). I have just recently loaded Ubuntu 10.10 to an older laptop I have (purchased summer of 2008). Has anyone gotten USB tethering to work with linux and if so, what'd you use? I know that PDANet is Win/Mac only. Any thoughts/ideas/etc?
