Help Connecting the phone with the PC

Hi, guys! I'm new in the forum and I've had X8 for about 3 months and it's just amazing. However, today I tried to connect it to my PC but my phone just kept restarting. I tried the same with a laptop but the same happened. This has never happened to me before and I will be very thankful if you could tell me what might cause this problem!

can we have the case history?
what did you last thing you did on ur phone?
installation? tweaks?

Well, I did nothing unusual. When I bought the phone I installed some applications like e-ray, Astro file manager and music and video player. Recently I installed a game from the market ("Unblock me") but that was like 1 - 2 weeks before I encountered that problem. I don't do anything risky with my phone.

I guess its a temporary error....
if you have not rooted your phone and stuff... than well get urself a backup with the backup&restore tool and hard reset your phone...
