Help Connecting to DM Server - Samsung Vibrant

[uhhhhuh]

I noticed my phone had a new icon in the pull down menu at the top, and when I pulled down the menu it said "Connecting to DM Server - Device Manager". I have googled it and cant seem to find out what is going on with my phone. Whenever I connected it to Samsung Kies (sucks i know) it said there was an update avaliable for my phone but it wouldn't go through with it. Any idea whats up?

im actually on my phone right now and have the same icon. Id love to know whats up with it.

So about 10 minutes after the mysterious icon popped up. My phone updated.

I have this same notification. Just popped up in my notification bar. Red and Blue arrows, they says connect to DM server.

What update was it? I've had it come up 3 or 4 times and go away but I've manually updated to JI6 using Odin.
