My brand new HTC Desire 610 fails to connect to my companies server. I've tried several things:
1. The most Obvious: I used Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. The error I get is 'Connecting to Exchange Server failed. Check settings and try again.' I applied the correct settings (the same everybody else is succesfully using and that have worked with my previous android Phone samsung galaxy SIII).
- What do I need to do?
- Do I need to install a certificate? Where do I get one?
2. Tried outlook.com app, but 'Verification failed. Check username and/or password.
3. Tried accessing the owa server via the browser. https:\\xxxx.xxxxxxx.be/owa
For some reason the standard browser immediately changes to Chrome and the back slashes are converted to front slashes, which is not the URL needed to access the mailbox.
- What can I do to work around these two things?
