Connecting to hdmi

I have a HDMI output on the back of my HD DVR does anyone know if I'm able to connect my droid x to it via HDMI cable? And if so is there anything special I need to do?

I think the HDMI is output only to view stuff from the X on your tv. You can give it a try and see if works though.

What is it that you are trying to do? The HDMI port on the X is an output also, so you would be trying to hook up 2 outputs together.
