Connecting to Kies

when i connect my phone to kies the program starts straight away (as per my preference) - and once i have unlocked the phone the phone will connect. However if i then choose to disconnect the phone from the kies program so that i can use it there is no option to then reconnect later to kies without pulling out the usb and replugging it back in and restarting kies. has anyone figured out a way round this ? thanks

Connect your device to your PC set on Kies.
Open Kies on your PC
While it is searching for a connection to your device, Open Control Panel on your PC. click on System, Hardware, Device Manager, Portable Devices.
Double click on Device Upgrade driver. Wait until your device name comes up.
Go back to Kies on your PC and you should see your device connected and able to transfer data from PC to Device.
Sounds to simple but it worked for me.
