Ok, so with the Game of Thrones season 2 starting up, I have renewed my subscription to HBO and gotten HBOgo on my SGSII. I want to be able to watch some of the other series HBO offers that I havent seen, and would prefer to watch them on my TV. Is there any issues with getting a standard MHL to HDMI adapter and plugging it into my receiver to play it through my TV and surround sound?
I read somewhere that these adapters will not work with a wifi signal. Is this the case? Streaming episode after episode would obviously destroy my data usage, so I am hoping they were incorrect and wifi will work fine.
Also, are there any particular cables that people have been using with success?
