Help Connecting to PC

How do I connect this to a PC to explore files?, everytime I try the f'ing voice commands boots up onto my screen by itself, and puts the phone into car mode, and of course nuclear missiles start launching, I want to smash the phone into a thousand pieces every time it does this.

And I also don't want anything to do with that Kies thing, according to the manual, I don't need to use it to explore the SD card.

you must have changed some settings, by default you just plug it in and Windows recognise the new storage.

Not sure if this will help but worth a try (before your phone ends up in a million pieces ) - if you go into settings - wireless & network you will see USB utilities which sets the USB cable connection mode...... worth a try....

I might be able to fix all of this samsung mess if I can get rid of the drivers that installed themselves onto the computer when I connected the first time using USB, cause now windows does not recognize the device.
