Connection Issue

Hi,

I have just purchased a Samsung Galaxy S3 and have been trying in vain to connect to my work wifi. The router is a Zyxel. I know that the network password is correct as I can connect my Nexus 7 wifi only tablet. Having entered the password and trying to connect, I instruct the phone to forget the password, reboot the phone and try again without success. Your assistance in solving this issue would be appreciated.

WiFi problems are a pain .. I know because I have dealt with it before. Sometimes it can be an easy fix, another time it just seems almost impossible.

Hey there and welcome to android forums!

Sometimes I'll have a problem connecting using the native Wi-Fi connector, when I do, I'll use a 3rd party named "Wi-Fi manager", sometimes it'll work and sometimes it won't. Just a thought :)
 
Thanks very much for your welcome, and your suggestions. It's interesting that I managed with no problems connecting to my Virgin Media router today.
