Help Connectivity issues SMS, calls, etc

I would like to know if there is a concrete solution/fix for this phones constant loss of signal and SMS error. I installed the signal app and I can now see that even though the phone itself shows bars and 3G signal, the phone is actually not getting a signal when it shows -120. Sometimes disabling Wifi and/or 4G will bring my signal back and other times only a reboot will work.


The phone is rooted right now following the steps in the Newbie root guide. I would just like to know if there is a 100% fix for this because it seems to be doing it a lot more lately. Most times it's at a very inconvenient time when I need to call my wife or something and it just doesn't connect the call, then about 15 seconds later I see -120.

I haven't found a concrete way, but what I do is usually send myself a text (unblocks something, I don't know what and you get all the text messages in one shot and it works fine again) and if that doesn't work I go to settings, system updates, update profile, and then after doing this send myself a text again and it goes back to normal.

I'm really thinking about selling this POS and buying the Samsung SII or something. This phone would be awesome if they'd just fix this one issue.
