Connectivity Issues

After rooting my Hero the night it came out, I noticed that I'm having connectivity issues. Weather won't update, can't check e-mail, can't access facebook, etc.

Any ideas how to fix this, or put my phone back to normal?

Did you flash a ROM too or just root it?

I just did the root, didn't flash any ROM.

I just reset the phone last night and everything seems to work again, but i guess its not rooted.

Suggestions?

Did you reset by reinstalling the stock rom from your pc? If not then it is still rooted, even if you did a factory reset, as far as I know anyways. I've noticed that sometimes after rooting or flashing I have to enable my wifi and then turn it off to get my data connection to connect. That just resets the phone data to tell it to connect to the Sprint network.
