My device does not connect with internet or email when strong wifi signal is documented. I do not receive email updates for extended periods and cannot access internet for extended periods, receiving "server error" messages. I am ready to purchase an iPhone.

Can you provide more information? What device are you using? Are you having issues everywhere or on one specific WiFi network? Do you have the same issues while using Mobile data? What type of email account are you using?

"Server Error" leads me to believe it's a corporate email/exchange and it sounds like at least the email issue is server side. IE: A problem on your server and not the device itself.

Also, are you connecting to your work via 2x, remote desktop or similar?

Reboot your router/ modem and change WiFi password.
