Considering Nexus 10

I hate to start one of these threads, but I'm considering an N10 and needed a lil more info from people who own one. I've owned 3 Android phones, so I know what Android is about, but I'm skeptical on this tablet since it's relatively below the radar. Are there any defects with it? Does it hold up after a couple months? I've read mixed reviews on battery life. How is it, in all honesty?

I'm deciding between this and an iPad 4. I have an iPad 2, so upgrading to the 4 would definitely be a bore since Apple never refreshes it's os or design. Just deciding on the safe bet vs the risk/reward bet.

I made the transition from the iPad 2 to the N10 after debating an iPad 4 (like yourself though I felt the step up wouldn't be that great)

I feel I made the right choice, I've waved goodbye to iOS fully now and I'm happy to do so, the Nexus 10 is a great tablet indeed :)

I've had mine 4 months. Still works great.

Battery is very good. It just depends on how bright you want the screen and what you're doing. I usually keep mine around 50-70%. I could stream 3 movies from Amazon before having to recharge.

Higher resolution than ipad.
Cheaper than ipad.
The latest android os releases

Buy it. If you don't like it, return it. Easy. :)

I absolutely love mine. I think the battery life is fine. I keep my screen brightness at 100% all the time but I'm not a heavy user. It's very snappy and what little I've used an iPad I'd much rather have this. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with an iPad I just prefer the Android OS. Go to Walmart and get one. If you don't like it take it back.

I was in the same spot a few months back. The only tablet out there that lined up with the iPad was the GN 10. I went for the Nexus and never looked back. Like the other guy said, I am not putting down the iPad, but if your an android phone user, go with the GNex as all the apps you bought for your phone, you can put on your tablet. I just wish they made a cell unit, but I tether off my GNex phone for free.

I got my 32gig Nexus 10 new seal in the box off craigslist for $300 I was debating on iPad 4 or mini but the for this great tablet I couldn't pass up.

In our house there is a variety of electronics: iPad, iPhone, PC, BlackBerry, macbook pro therefore I can safely say that I'm not a fundamentalist of any OS. The nexus 10 compares very well to the iPad. The iPad is probably a bit more intuitive and slightly easier to use. It is however very difficult to transfer files onto the iPad without being tied to iTunes. The nexus 10 seems to be a more accessible tablet in that regard. The apps are not quite as good as those available to the iPad but that will probably change over time.
I am enjoying the nexus 10 and expect that you will!
