Considering switch back to iPhone 4...

I think I AM going to switch back. Too many little buggy problems. Just going to wait for iPhone 5. I am sick of constantly getting texts from people twice, them telling me they are receiving my texts twice and in my house the iPhone just has better reception for internet and the like.

Sorry Android, I tried, but too many bugs and little annoyances, that I can't find any help for!

Are you by chance using a downloaded messenger app instead of the stock messenger? If so, try turning off notifications in the stock messenger, that took care of the problem for me.

You might be better served by the iPhone OS though, because of the numerous options with Android, users must be willing to navigate all of those options and set the phone up the way they like. A willingness to tinker, if you will and to search these forums when you're stuck. The Apple products are more plug and play so that you don't have to tinker with the phone if that's not your thing and you don't mind being a little more limited in your options.

Good luck either way:)

I do use the stock app for messaging, so I dunno what to do about that. I'm tired of everyone telling me they are getting my texts twice. I have seen other people have the same problem and have called AT&T, switched out phones, switched out sim cards, etc. and it's just too much hassle.

I've tinkered a LOT with this phone, and just can't get it the way I want it. I just want it to work.

Another annoying thing is when I try to send a mass text, when I go through my contacts, it has the email address and phone number of a person as two separate entries, and I can't find how to fix it, and I can't tell which is which. It also has every email address I've ever used in it, but ONLY when I'm trying to send a new mass text. When I am in my contacts app, only the phone numbers show up. I can't find any way to fix this either.

It also has crappy reception where I live, way worse than the iPhone.
