COnsidering this phone

I have an Echo with Sprint which is Pretty cool and I like it but I just recently found out that VM has a 25 bucks plan that gives me everything i need and I was considering this phone(even though i hear it sucks) or an LG Optimus V

does this phone come with any free minutes/money like some Prepaid phones come with?

Nope, nothing free. You can earn free minutes buy referring peeps I think. And the people saying it sucks are prolly the trolls that have yet to use the service themselves. I have been with VM for about 6 months now, and have no issues.

I have had this phone since nov 2010..so far I give it a 3/5...but I just got Froyo and so far it seems so much better...the new phones are being sold with 2.2 so check out the box before you buy ... or get it from the virgin website..i saw the other day on their site that it now says in description for phone 'android 2.2'...either way both phones are good deals for the $25( noticed I did not say GREAT)

well i've looked at bestbuy's website, here, and the virgin site
and a lot of people said this phone sucks because it freezes a lot and that it also
doesn't charge all the way and that it is slow and a lot of apps don't run on it because of the screen resolution and a lot of people have been saying get the optimus v.

I played with both earlier at the store and i liked them both so it's a tough decision

The Intercept works fine if its been updated to 2.2, which mine did the other day. But I still like the Optimus better because its a little lighter and smaller. The main decision is if you want the physicl qwerty board or not. If you can live without it, get the Optimus. In a word, it works.

I love this phone. People that complain about prob would complain about any phone as the phone will only work as good as its managed. I loved the phone before the update and now with the update I think this phone is awesome. I recommend it to everyone. And got my wife to witch to it from her HTCHD on t-mobile. She loves it.
