Considering upgrading to the Charge, Advice/Help Needed

Hey all,

My wife comes up for renewal next week and is in dire need of moving to a real smartphone, none of that junky quasi-smartphone crap she's had the last two years (that's what she gets for not taking my advice when I tried to get her in on a smartphone earlier--hence why I'm making the decision for her this time :D).

In any case, instead of posting in the Android Lounge, I figured I'd post in the Charge area so that I could get your opinions on the pros/cons of the phone from actual users. I'm torn between bumping her up to the Charge b/c there is partial coverage where we live/work (work has 4G, home is 3G) or going with the Dinc2.

FWIW, she'll be a light/moderate user focused on internet, social apps, media apps, light gaming (angry birds and other "simple" games), and e-mail. So, if those of you that own it could let me know what you like about it and what you don't like, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Cheers all!

I say go for it! The camera is outstanding on this phone and the navigation with google maps really comes in handy. My GPS wasn't working too well (had trouble acquiring a signal) but the more I used it the faster it navigated and that's the case with the battery-at first it seems to drain fast but its holding a charge better every day. I teetered between the Charge and the Revo but went with the Charge because of the camera, screen quality, and no bing. As far as rooting it I didn't do that mainly because if I decide to return it they might not accept it (just my thought). Def install launcherpro.

yes, go for it!! i really liking my Charge for the same reasons mentioned above but also the big decision factor for me was the weight...much lighter compared to the TB and Revo.
