It seems like every 5-10 minutes, I get an email notification ... when there is no new email. Granted, I have a lot of emails accounts I'm tracking; 1 gmail (for the phone), one exchange for work, one POP for personal, and one IMAP for school. Obviously, I do get a lot of email, but I will open the accounts via the notification window just to find out that there is no new message.
Does the phone fire off a notification each time it simply checks email? I don't remember this on 2.0. I also don't remember this on the past 4 Droids (yea .. not a lot of luck with this thing).
