Help Constant Power Cycle

My phone was running amazingly until recently. Randomly it started power cycling, (as the VZW rep called it) & it won't stop!

It's been doing it the past couple weeks & I'm wondering if it's malware or something causing the problem. I haven't downloaded any non-known apps recently so Idk what the issue could be.

VZ is already sending me a replacement but I was curious if anyone had any ideas as to what it could be.

Did the "tech support " have you try a factory reset?
Bad apps(or a normally good app being coruupted) or a bad sd card can cause spontaneous reboots.

I've already done 3 factory resets, to no avail. What could cause an app or sd card to become corrupted?

Over time files just become corrupted from data being written and erased. Its a normal thing for any file system.

Being as you are getting a new Inc, you may want to copy all the contents off your SD card to a PC and reformat the card, then copy everything back before using it in the new Inc.

Also, they said I have to swap out the batteries. Are they going to be able to tell if I don't?
