So I've gotten the gingerbread update. I've rooted and removed bloatware. I've lowered the number of homescreens to just 3. But still everytime I open an app and then go back to the homescreen I get redraws everytime.
Search XDA for the V6 Supercharger Script. Its universal so it will work on any rooted Android device. I use the MegaRAM option a well as Bulletproof Launcher which has completely eliminated the launcher redraw issue. Use to piss me off something fierce so I definitely feel your pain.
