Help Constant "sync" symbol since update

Since i got the new update last week, my notification bar constantly had the sync symbol displayed in it. My battery life has been drastically reduced. it wasnt like this before the update. Anyone have any ideas about this?

I don't know why it's doing it but I had the same problem. To get rid of it I had to do a factory reset. It sucked but GB has been rather problem-free since I did.
