Help Contact changes on X keep reverting back

[nnklem]

I apologize if this has been asked and answered before, but I need some help. Changes I make to contacts on the X keep reverting back to the previous values after the phone syncs with Google. For example, if I change a phone number for a particular contact on the phone, after the next sync cycle completes, the phone number I changed reverts back to the original number.

Any ideas why this is happening? Thank you in advance.
