Contact dissappeared?

I just added a contact to my phone under "People" by clicking "Add contact" and it said saved and then he didnt show up in "People" so I went to add him again and the same thing happened!! I tried dialing his phone number into my keypad under "Phone" and it said that he was there, it said I was calling him... But I want HIM to show up in PEOPLE. This is very frustrating, how do i make him show up in people?

It sounds like you have added the new contact as a Phone contact but have them filtered from view. So, from the People app hit the menu key and select View. Then scroll down and make sure Phone is selected then hit done.
