I have my Galaxy S4 synced with Hotmail. All messages and contacts are synced. I can edit an address on Hotmail and it syncs OK with the phone. But if I edit any contact on the phone, the email address sent to Hotmail is invalid. The S4 sends the address as: "Some Body" <somebodyATsomewhere.com>. (AT means @). Hotmail does not consider this a valid email format. It doesn't like the double quotes around the display name, "Some Body". When I try to send an email to this person from Hotmail, I get an error box saying "Please use the following format for email addresses: name@example.com. If you're using category names or nicknames, make sure you don't have any typos. Possible typos: some body"

I now believe that this feature just does work on the S4. If I can find someone for whom it actually works, I will continue to try and solve this problem. Otherwise I will just switch to Gmail.
