Help contact list is messed up

the problem is when I create a contact # I later on come to check on that contact # and I get many repeats of that same # in the form of a text and a cell #. Is there an option to disable it because it pisses me off.

Seems to my like you have a syncing issue or the like. Could you check your google contacts and report back how many entries for contact # are there?

Also, are you using the default contact app, or something else?

Try deleting the extra contacts in your google account. Put your phone in Wifi mode, and do a manual sync of the contacts. It should hopefully clean things up for you.

Also, are you aware that you can just list only "contacts with phone numbers" on the phone?

yep, again thanks for your time and help ;)

EDIT: btw when I add a contact in to my phone does it save to the sd card or SIM? I only see an option to import contact but I don't see an option to export.

It's been a pleasure. That's what we're here for. :)

PS: you can also push the 'thanks' button on the post to inflate my ego. ;)
