Help contact photos

i'm following the lg optimus v manual on how to add photo to contact. i'm able to select contact, edit contact, hold down empty picture frame and "select photo from gallery"....after that i'm lost. i select one photo in album but it doesn't give me any option to crop and save...just share, delete, view details kinda thing. i somehow inadvertently had one photo pop up and let me crop and save...but haven't a clue how that happened or how to make it happen again.

i turned phone off and then it worked. guess i have to turn phone off each time. seems to be hit or miss at any rate.
 
I’m not sure if you still have a question, but FWIW, I find it easiest to assign contact pictures when logged into the phone’s Gmail account on a “big” computer. ;)

Any contact pic you have set in Gmail automatically shows up on the phone (if you have syncing enabled, which is the default.)

Thorsten, this is all just some good nature'd fun poking. You are now allowed to poke fun at those who have poked at you. This is part of how friends act around here.
Of course you will have to wait for a good opportunity to poke back. With my brain it shouldn't take too long.
